Learn to direct Qi and blood actively and to treat musculoskeletal issues strategically.
This course focuses on the rapid and successful management of musculoskeletal injuries using acupuncture and manual therapy—whether dealing with sports injuries, trauma, or degenerative conditions. Participants will learn how to treat acute and chronic states, as well as pre- and post-operative conditions.
Dr. Kleiser explains the theoretical foundations and various needling and manual techniques. Different treatment strategies are taught through both theory and practice.
He demonstrates specific Daoyin exercises (Qigong) that help practitioners influence their own internal Qi, thereby enabling them to actively guide the patient’s Qi as well.
Since 2012, Dr. Kleiser has been intensively studying the methods and techniques that Andrew Nugent-Head (Asheville, USA) learned from various masters during his nearly 30 years in China.
The course is divided into two parts. Participants receive online access to videos recorded by Andrew Nugent-Head over the past 15 years, in which he explains and demonstrates the theory and practice of the treatments in detail. The videos are in English; a German translation of key aspects is provided as a PDF to ensure that participants with limited English proficiency can follow along easily.
During the course weekends, Dr. Kleiser will demonstrate practical aspects, and techniques will be practiced in pairs. The course is conducted in German.
We dedicate ample time to explaining, practicing, and refining manual and needling techniques. Sufficient time is also allocated for questions and answers. Each day begins with a one-hour Daoyin/Qigong session.
